We spent most of the morning in Tot Town, and then went into the Energy Lab, which has a whole BUNCH of water tables, my favorite!
We played in the construction area, took a break for lunch, and then played with the trains for a little while before heading home. I was having such a great time, I didn't want to leave!
Mommy didn't want me to sit in my damp clothes all the way home, so she reached into the emergency diaper bag in the trunk... and came up with a pair of soft fleecy pants and cozy dry socks.
In size 9 months and 6-12 months, respectively. Apparently, it's been a while since we restocked the bag. Fail.
It's a good thing I'm a peanut - those pants? Still fit - at least well enough to sit in my car seat for the drive home.
Looks and sounds like a lot of fun. We also had a clothing fail this weekend....Mommy forgot to pack socks for our overnight trip to the beach. Luckily there was an extra pair in the diaper bag. It's hard to remember everything!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or are those smocks just button up shirts? As in, not water repellent in any way??
ReplyDeleteThat museum looks like soooo much fun! And the balls on the water table are not perfect mouth sized, which is a major plus!
Oh, and last week, I pulled out a 0-6 month GOWN out of Mason's diaper bag. It happens. LOL
