A Klassy Evening at IKEA

So, on Friday evening, we took a family trip to IKEA for their Midsummer Smorgasbord (apparently, in Sweden "midsummer" = late spring).  IKEA has dinner events every few months, and you can have all you can eat meatballs for $9.99 (or $2.49 if you're a kid), so obviously we recommend that as an inexpensive family night out.

Anyway, our closest IKEA is about half an hour away, and by the time we got there, I had fallen FAST asleep!  Daddy did some quick thinking and MacGyver-ed me up a be with a shopping cart, a picnic blanket from the car, and one of Lulu's receiving blankets.  I slept comfortably for almost an hour while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed their dinners.

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but we chose a table near the window, which was *really* disorienting when I woke up... OR, I might have been a little confused about waking up in a random shopping cart.  Anywho, I ate some meatballs and some broccoli (and a brownie thing), and then proclaimed that I was tired and wanted to go back to sleep in my cart.

I demanded that Baby Lulu join me.

Yeah.  We proceeded to shop for a bit with me and Lulu snuggling in our little shopping cart nest.  Klassy.

IKEA doesn't know who I am.  We paid for our own delicious meatballs.
